一、审题定调

本题要求写一封道歉信，为因故不能赴约向朋友表示歉意。由于高考中对邮件和信的要求完全一致，故本栏目统称其为“信”。人称以第一人称为主，时态需由具体内容决定。

二、谋篇布局

道歉信正文的主要内容包括表达歉意和说明事情原委两部分。具体到本题，只需按照要点顺序写作即可，即表示歉意→说明原因→另约时间。同样，因题目中要点提示较少，考生需合理补充细节，如另约的具体时间、见面地点等。

Dear Bob,

I'm sorry to tell you that we may not be able to go to the bookstore together on Friday afternoon this week. My class has an event that I need to attend during that time. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

I can still do it on Saturday morning though. Does that work for you? Let me know. We can meet outside the school gate at 8:30 am. If you have another time in mind, just let me know. I should be available after school next week.
