2024年春运扬帆启航
北京时间1月26日，“全国春运看广东”的景象再度开启。春运首日，广铁集团客流火爆，迎来发送旅客167.7万人次，较2023年同期激增54.7万人次，涨幅高达48.4%。与2019年相比，更是增加9.2万人次，增长5.8%。
省内旅客量稳步攀升
广东各大火车站全面焕发生机，发送旅客111.3万人次。其中，广州南站作为华南地区的重要交通枢纽，更是备受关注。
1月26日上午，广州南站候车大厅人流涌动，自动查验通道全部启用，现场秩序井然。旅客们在工作人员和志愿者的指引下，有序前往安检区域。
据广州南站相关负责人介绍，当日预计到发旅客49万人次，同比增长34.6%，其中发送旅客30万人次，同比增长30.5%，到达旅客19万人次，同比增长41.6%。
为满足旅客出行需求，广州南站计划开行895趟高铁列车。目前，长沙南、北京西、武汉、郑州东、上海虹桥、南昌西、成都东、昆明南、贵阳北、重庆西等方向的列车票较为紧张。尚未购票的旅客可使用12306“候补”功能，及时购票。
出行高峰逐渐临近
预测显示，广州南站发送客流高峰期集中在2月5日至8日（年二十六至二十九），最高峰出现在2月7日（年二十八），预计届时发送客流量将超过38.8万人次。到达旅客高峰期预计将在2月13日至18日（正月初四至正月九），最高峰出现在2月17日（正月初八），预计到达客流量将超过40.9万人次。
